Horror host Bill Cardille died last week at 87 after his second battle with cancer. Bill was a well-known television personality for Pittsburgh’s WIIC/WPXI TV11, as well as the co-creator and host of the station’s late night horror program Chiller Theater which aired from 1963 to 1984. He was appeared as a news reporter in both the original Night of the Living Dead, as well as the 1990 remake.
Bill’s daughter Lori Cardille played Sarah in George Romero’s 1985 Day of the Dead.
